Adult Swim Lessons

We encourage all adult swimmers to start with the Adult Intro class, to gain an introduction to the  Gold Medal Swim School swimming values.  Comfort and relaxation in the water are extremely important for beginners and advanced swimmers.

ADULT INTRO: Designed for the adult beginner to gain a basic knowledge of relaxation in the water, air regulation, floating, and glides. No experience required. (One hour, 6:1 student-teacher ratio)

ADULT INTERMEDIATE-ADVANCED: Designed for the Adult swimmer who has completed the Adult Intro graduation skills.  Students should be able to swim at least 50 yards relaxed, without stopping. This class emphasizes air regulation, swimming relaxation, and body position while working on individual stroke mechanics. Instructors will begin to teach freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and/or butterfly if the skill level is appropriate.

Intermediate/Advanced adult swimmers should enroll in the Adult Intermediate-Advanced class.  (One hour, 6:1 student-teacher ratio)

Please speak with a registration specialist if you would like information on private adult swim lessons.
