Pre-Competitive Swim Team

PRE COMPETITIVE SWIM TEAM formally known as Shark: Pre Competitive Swim Team is part one of a three-step process designed to help swimmers transition to year round competitive USA sanctioned swimming.  Pre Competitive Swim Team is for swimmers looking to begin racing, interacting as a team unit, and increase technical skill while gaining fitness.  Pre Competitive Swim Team workouts emphasize competitive technique and competitive swimming rules within the team experience.  Focus is on advanced flip turns, endurance swimming, speed training, and transition to competitive swimming.  Swimmers should be 6 years or older to enroll.

Equipment required: Goggles. Competitive swimming front mounted snorkel and a pair of “positive drive swim fins” are encouraged (These items are available at the Gold Medal retail store).
