Opening Duties
Work through the checklist and check each item as it is completed.
Turn on misters (warm weather only)
Read/review Admin Pre-shift w/ all Admin. Staff
Set rug outside entrance and in front of pool door
Set 1 rug in front of changing room and 1 inside changing room doors
Turn on light switch next to front door and 5 light switches next to printer
Open all three blinds in front windows
Turn on slide show televisions
Check on the cleaning crew from the night before. (Did they empty trash and clean floors?)
Process any remaining Unlimited Swim request
Clear voicemail of messages and check all email accounts
Deck Setup (please also fill out the Deck Setup Checklist)
Check all baskets and restock paper towels
Prepare any remaining welcome cards and t-shirts for the shift
Pick up any trash on the ground in the lobby, changing rooms and pool area (Band-Aids, paper towels, etc.)
Check to make sure anything needs to be restocked wet bags
Scan all the bathrooms and make sure they look clean and are fully stocked for the day
Complete chemical check
