Please take our swim level assessment below to assist us in placing your child in the most suitable class level. After you have submitted the following Pre-Registration form, a staff member will then follow up with you via email and/or phone to schedule your FREE Trial lesson. Please note that while the swim level assessment belows helps us get a strong idea of which level your student should be placed in, we will complete a formal, in-person evaluation during your FREE Trial lesson to ensure the BEST possible experience for your swimmer.

2024 Policies and Procedures

We ask for common courtesy and respect among all clients when at Gold Medal Swim School
- ANNUAL INSURANCE FEE: Annual registration fees are automatically charged in February for continuing students or upon registration for new or returning students. The fee is $35.00 for the first child, $15.00 for the second child, with a family maximum of $50.00. Registered students receive a FREE T-shirt or Swim Diaper.
- PAYMENT: Tuition and fees are due at the time of enrollment. A credit card must remain on file for tuition charged on the 1st of each month. A non-refundable service fee of $3.00 will be added to all credit and debit card payments. If you wish to avoid the credit card service fee, we graciously accept payment by personal check or e-check; payments must be made to Gold Medal Swim School by the 20th of the month prior to the tuition due date. Checks are only accepted on site in the drop box located near the front entrance or mailed to the Gold Medal Chandler location. Checks must include the name of the enrolled student(s) and contact information. All returned checks are subject to a $30.00 fee.
- REFERRALS: Refer a friend and earn a $25.00 account credit (per referred family) when they enroll.
- DRESSING ROOM: Only place your belongings in a dressing room stall when your student is physically in the stall and ready to change. Do not leave your belongings unattended in a dressing room stall at any time.
- SHOWERING: Please keep showers to a minimum. Swimsuits must remain on at all times.
- VIDEO RECORDING: All swimming sessions are video recorded for quality control purposes. We occasionally take pictures and/or videos for promotional or informational purposes. Please let us know if this is a concern.
- PARENTS ARE EXPECTED TO STAY IN THE BUILDING FOR THEIR CHILD’S SAFETY.
- All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is not swimming. Children cannot be left in the lobby unattended at any time.
- 2024 CLOSURES: We calculate tuition based on a calendar year average of four lessons per month. We do not prorate for closure dates nor offer makeups as they are calculated into the monthly average.
- CLASS ABSENCES: Class absences are accepted in the Udio customer account prior to 9:00am on the day of the student’s perpetual class booking. When a perpetual class is marked as Unable to Attend, the students account will automatically be credited with a Makeup voucher.
- MAKEUPS: Makeup vouchers are valid for one calendar year from the date of the absence. Makeups are booked through the Udio customer account. Students must be currently enrolled to schedule a makeup, no exceptions. Once a makeup is scheduled, it cannot be changed or rebooked as makeups hold no cash value. Makeups may be scheduled up to seven (7) days in advance and are subject to class availability. Swim Team 2, Swim Team 3, High School Prep, Summer Swim Team and Olympic Development are not eligible for makeups.
- UNLIMITED SWIM: Our FREE Unlimited Swim program is offered year-round and provides students the opportunity to take additional classes at no extra charge, based on availability. In order to participate, students must be perpetually enrolled in Baby Swim, Learn to Swim, or Adult. Unlimited Swim requests are only accepted through the Unlimited Swim Request form on our website. Unlimited Swim requests are for same-day bookings only and may be submitted after 9:00 PM the night prior. Limit: One class per day.
- INSTRUCTOR-IN-TRAINING CLASSES: Throughout the year, FREE Instructor-in-Training classes are offered to perpetually enrolled students. Instructor-in-Training classes allow our staff to gain valuable hands-on experience under the supervision of a manager. Gold Medal Swim School clients never pay for a class with an instructor who is still learning. Instructor-in-Training classes provide students an opportunity to swim in extra, free classes in addition to their regular lesson. Limit: One class per day.
- CLASS LIMITS: Students are limited to a maximum of 60 minutes or two swim lessons per day. This applies to any combination of perpetual, makeup, instructor-in-training, and unlimited swim bookings.
- BABY CLASS LIMITS: It is our recommendation that Baby Swim students participate in a maximum of one class per day. Please request a Baby Unlimited Swim class on a day other than your student's regularly scheduled perpetual class day or contact our Baby Swim department leader for exceptions.
- CANCELLATION: A two-week (two class periods) notice is required to withdraw from perpetual lessons. Cancellation requests are only accepted through the Cancellation Request form on our website.

- I understand Gold Medal Swim School will charge my credit card on file with Udio for my monthly tuition and an annual registration fee. I understand to avoid a credit card processing fee, payment in the form of a personal check or e-check must be made by the 20th of the month.
- Gold Medal Swim School's Class Absence, Makeup, Unlimited Swim, and Cancellation policies have been explained to me.
- A parent or guardian in supervision of my child will remain in the building at all times during my child's lessons.
